Just got a gift card for Best Buy, and want to get a dvd/ipod/radio with it! Looked at the store yesterday and found a Pioneer for $499. Went home and looked on the store web site and there were two pioneers that looked the same but one was $399 and the other was $419. All three looked identical to me so I don't know what to get! HELP, as I know nothing about what is the best or if I even need to go with a different brand! Thank you all!:)

Read This. There's some general info on what to look for in head units.

Ok the only difference between the $419 and the $399 is the built in bluetooth. If you want to add bluetooth to the $399 later it will cost you right around $100+. The only advantage to that is with the optional bluetooth add on you can stream audio from most cell phones.

I just bought the $419 one, it's the 3200BT model. But here's the bad news I have for you.

The $419 model is only $339 on crutchfield. And it includes free shipping and includes all the extra stuff you'll need to install, wiring harness, etc. To me that's a huge difference and I love Best Buy but I would also highly recommend Crutchfield.

More bad news for you, that $399 model is exactly $299 on crutchfield's website, the 3200DVD model.

Unfortunately you have a gift certifcate so that narrows your options on where to buy the unit. I doubt Best Buy will price match Crutchfield's internet price but it's worth a shot.

And on a side note, I was looking at Best Buy's ad this week and in the car audio section they state that their installers would be happy to install your audio equipment no matter where you bought it.

Thanks for the info guys, and that really sucks about the price, but I will see if they price match. So the Pioneer is the best radio? I really like the looks of it and the features!

I've had Pioneer in the past and I really like them, I've also had kenwood but Pioneer seems to sound a little better. Here's a great video to watch if you want a review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSzhZRlT6To
