HELP! whats wrong with my taco????

    I'd check the MAF sensor before buying a $1200. My VW had a fly-by-wire and the MAF sensor plug came loose. Had the same exact symptoms you're describing. Just plugged it back in, let it idle for a few min, and off I went no problems.

    already checked it out its the TPS unfortunately

    Same thing happened to a friend and it was the alternator. Id go to pep boys or autozone and have them run a free check.

    nope it was the tps fixed it and problem is gone :) glad it is because people who had a tps bad or going bad or whatever, their truck would either not accelerate or it would accelerate to max when it shouldnt causing accidents so im glad its fixed bummed it was so expensive but glad its better, plus the throttle is so sensative now its awsome!
