Which side is the ground? I figured I'd set the ground, but the terminals are different. Does it matter? Thanks.

Neither, hot goes in - hot goes out. If that is a switch, what is it?

I was going to use it for the switch for my auxiliary lights that I'm wiring up. So you're saying the switch can't be used?

ARE cap, wade inchannel vent visors, weathertec floor mats, ranch hand grill guard, tuffy security boxes in bed, lockable tailgate handle. Still have stuff that needs to be installed and still have stuff ordered lol.
you can use it to turn power on n off to lights.
if you put power to one side and ground to other side of switch i t will blow fuse and who knows what else

You can if you are feeding B+ directly to the lights and switch the ground.Otherwise you will be doing some melt down

A switch like that doesn't get grounded. You just use it to complete the hot wire run (on) or break the hot wire run (off).

because there is no ground on that switch.

    Hot in, hot out.

The only switches that are grounded are the switches that have a light for illumination.

In this case Ground your accessorie, not your switch

No offense, but switches are as basic as it gets. Since you don't seem to understand how they work, I'd suggest getting help with your wiring, before you burn something down.

    Local help, not just internet............

A great way to learn is having someone who knows what they are doing looking over your shoulder and coaching you along.

Now show him a schematic with an un-illuminated switch, like the one he has in hand. Two terminals, no ground.

After seeing that picture do y'all understand my confusion with grounding it? Since there's no indication to the switch being illuminated.

    Just a few
That picture has 3 prongs. Hence one for grounding it. Yours has 2 prongs. Both are positive. No confusion there.

The switch in the schematic has 3 connection points. Yours only has 2.

I guess the good news is you asked, rather than assuming and burning stuff up.
