Leaving on Mexico to Canada trip this spring. Need a very large safari rack (cargo rack) for the cab of my 2012 4dr. Can I use the area under those rubber strips on the roof to mount it? or do I have to use thule/yakima style mounts on the roofs edge? ARB? steal or aluminum?
