    Hi,

I recently became the owner of a 2013 Tacoma and I’ve ran into an issue with the A/C unit. The air will only turn on when I flip the switch to the highest setting. Nothing happens on any of the lower settings. I bought a new connector and resistor and installed them both, but there was no change. Strangely, the air conditioning still was working when the connector was unplugged (the blower motor and resistor weren’t connected to each other). Does anyone know why this is, and what I can do to fix it? Thank you so much!!

    Hi,

the issue is that I replaced the resistor and connector already and it still isn’t working. I’m also confused because the A/C keeps going even when the resistor isn’t plugged in.

Get you a test light and check the blower circuit as outlined in the link @TnShooter posted.
