I replaced the stock stereo in my 2012 with one from an early 2014 last year, and loved the new screen and display. The only problem is that my USB/AUX wire connection is entirely different and won’t fit the new stereo. I’ve been fine without it but really dislike having a useless USB port and finally wanna try to tackle this. Ive included the photos of my stock wiring (blue male connector) and the new stereo connection (grey female). What can I do here? Btw Toyota won’t sell me the grey male connector without purchasing the entire front wiring harness, and I can’t find that connector anywhere online. 856FAC96-EC22-402C-9F56-6BA32A885523.jpg 53107FAB-D07F-4EB4-ADE5-338B7C919E11.jpg

Look up a Toyota OEM 2014 USB connector cable. It goes from radio to relay point in kick panel passenger side. Relay goes to dash USB port. Not sure but it might work.

Do you know if I only need that cable? And is the connection the same under the kick panel?

I think you can buy OEM cable but haven't checked. You need a 2014 connection for radio and relay under kick panel hopefully the same as your truck. Check out a Toyota parts site.

I just tried looking for OEM cable on a USA Toyota site. Hard too find diagram for radio only and pin point that cable. Possible it's in a harness. Try calling a dealer they be able to help better than me.
