I know this has been answered a 100x but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I just bought 285 75 16 to go on my 2012 access cab. I know I will need a lift, but to be exact all I need is a 3 inch front and 2 inch rear and buy some wheel spacers? thx in advance

    CMC (cab mount chop)

And beat that pinch weld back with a mallet.

Wheel spacers can be avoided with a lift and proper wheel selection.

negative on the ucas. that's why I figured the wheel spacers would just push the tires away from the uca

I ran 285/75/16 on my access cab with a three inch lift no CMC and no trimming. I had zero rubbing issues

What offset was your rims you had? Did you have spacers and such? Im thinking about going to that size next year and am just curious on the wheel setup.

Was there any offset, or just back spacing? Also how wide are the rims?

That's not the only concern. You might be able to get the alignment "in-spec" but you might be wandering down the road and in the shop doing alignments more frequently..

I would add UCA'a to the list. Buy once, cry once..do it right the first time..

Hm..interesting. I had to trim just for full lock in drive and reverse and for entering steep driveways and parking lot entrances. Currently this is what I had to do on my '13: remove mudflaps, trim where they mount, trim inner gender plastics, beat the pinch weld back and get a CMC done..but my mall might be a little different from yours..
