Help with 5vzfe

Probably unimportant backstop replaced valve cover gaskets and knock sensors putting everything back together I have 3 hoses I don't know where they go one unsure connection and one fitting with no hose. There is a very long vacuume line (I think) running from the drivers side and I don't no where it connects, there is the line coming from the top of the egr don't know where that connects, and there is the one coming off the intake (it is aftermarket cold air intake not installed by me) and last there is the hose coming off the bottom of the throttle body (not the two water bypass valves) that doesn't connect anywhere else and the random fitting that is by one of the heater hoses and don't know what should connect there. I tried connecting the tube from the bottom of the throttle body to that but it didn't reach. Any help is appreciated.

 

Not sure if this is something that changes slightly by model year, but on my 95 that vacuum line off the intake goes to a little black box mounted on the lower plenum, right in front of the throttle body. Its centered on the front of the engine, it might be right below your throttle cable mount on the last picture. On my truck that little box has two lines, one from the intake and one from the upper plenum, and that line from the upper plenum on your truck seems to be plugged off, so Im not sure what else might be different.
The line from the IACV (bottom of throttle body) on mine goes to the back of the engine, right by the heater hoses. If I remember correctly theres a T - connector where it plugs in.. The only time I've had good access to that connection is with the intake manifold off though, so I'm not sure if you can get it back on with the top end assembled.

There should also be a diagram somewhere, I think its on the hood or on the firewall, that depicts a bunch of the vacuum line routing.

 

I'm sorry but reading your post is giving me anxiety. Not sure exactly what is going on here but did you disconnect these lines to begin with? That very long line is coming off the charcoal canister. I'd start there and with what was mentioned above. Diagram of hose/line routing stickied to the hood is a good reference.

 

Yeah I disconnected these hoses while taking the engine apart to replace knock sensors and check valve clearances and clean out the wgr system

 

Here’s where one of my intake lines goes.

My truck has one line off the firewall side of the intake, that’s the disconnected line by the firewall in the picture. And then I have two lines out of a box on the front side of the intake. The first line goes to the circled box.

Maybe when the po changed the intake he plugged the line off the upper plenum, and only used one of the vacuum lines?

I can’t remember where my 2nd line off the intake box goes. I think it goes down somewhere around the power steering reservoir..

I wont be able to check until I put my truck back together in a couple weeks.

Just some poor judgment and bad marking. I got every hose back in place. Is there a priming procedure besides just letting it crank after emptying fuel rails and everything?

I’d start double checking all connections and grounds.
First thought that came to my head was to check the ground wire that connects to the upper plenum next to the diagnostic port, I know I’ve forgotten that before. Can’t remember if it would crank with that disconnected though.
Double check your spark wires are correct.
