Help with A/C Drain Valve

Greetings,

Last month our 2010 Corolla encountered a 'plugged drain valve' from the A/C that flooded our interior and cost $700 to repair and clean.

With that said, my 2011 Tacoma is now doing what sounds and looks like the same thing.

Can anyone help with this issue - like a diagram of where the drain valve is, etc...?

AWESOME! Thanks. That was easy to find. Just ran a thin twig up the hose and about a pint of water came rushing out.

 

What symptoms were you experiencing?

 

If you have a blocked tube, try blowing some air from a compressor or compressed air into the drain tube from under the car.

 

58 Siesta - had a small drip from underneath the glove box onto the passenger side floor mat. Our Corolla had a hissing sound like a hot iron touching water whenever we turned. Noticed a little water on the passenger side floor until one evening after my wife came home from work. It flooded the passenger side front and back seat floor board.

03coma - I saw that on a youtube video from ericthecarguy.com. The water flowed out of my Tacoma drain tube just like it did in his video.

 

Good job vintperc, the smallest thing can clog that tube, spider webs, dirt ect.
