I just installed a toytec ultimate lift on my 2011 access cab trd sport. I went with the 2" add a leaf in the rear and got the toytec bump stop spacers. Ive watched hundreds of videos and pic installs for the add a leaf. Under my stock bump stop is a spacer and i don't see it on any other truck. Can someone tell me if this is OEM or did a previous owner add it for some reason and should i reinstall it or? Im just lost from other pics and videos I've seen.

Here is the OEM bump stop and the said spacer that was under it.

If it were my rig I would leave it out. My 2014 did not have that spacer. I should clarify I do not have a clue which models came with that extra spacer, or why for that matter.

I'm almost convinced it was added. Previous owner was the original owner and only had a 1" spacer in the front and some terrible fuel wheels that I'm replacing with enkei RPT1's.. i assumed he did nothing in the rear but who knows at this point

I have the Toytec bump stops any advantage to adding the super bump and the u bolt flip to that? Im thinking there's no need for this random spacer haven't seen a truck that has it

You know the more i look at it the more that makes sense. Glad the only things he did to this truck was 1" spacers

I think he's 100% right, I'm tossing it in the trash. Thanks for the insight guys.

It looks like a homemade bump stop spacer but agree with others to toss it. Unlike the toytec aluminum spacer that uses the factory BS to compensate for the added lift, Wheeler's super bumps are constructed taller with progressive compressing qualities to soften when activated unlike the hard clunk felt of the OEM.
