I just bought a used set of these skids... I didn't get any hardware for bolting the skids together or to the tuck. I do have the plates that get put into the frame channel. I don't want to have to order the hardware from budbuilt I'd rather go to the hardware store and get these bolts, nuts, locking nuts, etc...
If anyone could list the hardware for me it'd be great I've been waiting for budbuilt to email me back

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
most aftermarket skids bolt to the truck use the stock bolts for the stock flimsy skids/brackets.

Wait for budbuilt to reply and get the stainless steel hardware. There's too many different carriage bolts with length differences. And use lock washers where locknuts are not included from Budbuilt.

I just need the specs for the bolts and I'd rather run to the hardware store to get them... That's what I did to install my ARB front bumper.

So I got the bolts from budbuilt and I called for an email so I could see the installation instructions better... I was attempting to put the ifs skid on and nothing lines up with the holes on the skid plate to the skids on my truck... I even removed the front recovery hook thinking it would be in the way and it still didn't help... I bought them from a buddy that had them on a 2012... Before I bought them I emailed budbuilt to ask if theyd fit and they said the skids would... I tried to call and explain my problem but no one could seem to understand what I was saying... I don't have pictures right now... I'm going to attempt to put them on again on Wednesday or Thursday when im off and I'll post pics to get some better help... Until then anyone have any insite to what my problem maybe.

Ato IFS (I have no idea what ato ifs skids are) with BudBuilt "the rest" of the skids. Ok, that's a problem.

Sounds like you're trying to match the ato ifs skid to BudBuilt skids from the IFS back, doesn't sound like a good idea.

Seems like the OP should scrap the ato IFS skid, buy a BudBuilt IFS to use with the BudBuilts from the IFS back. Heck, got the SS hardware for the BudBuilts, the BudBuilt IFS fits fine every time, seems easy.

F that. I don't try to make square parts fit into round holes.

gotcha. i didnt see the ato/budbuilt differences in my earlier posts. everyone like to make their stuff proprietary as possible. and like you did, the cheapest way (minus trying to fab something together) to get it all covered would be to get the budbuilt IFS and sell the ATO.

My gas tank skid took some muscle and a jack to get it high enough to get the nuts on, tight to the tank... But now looks like rocks are getting wedged between the tank and skid... Anyone else have this happen?

Ah kk makes sense... what kind of nuts come with the skid when new? I just reused the old ones from the plastic skid... The nuts hang down quite a bit though so worried they will get snagged up and rip off

I'm thinking of jacking the tank up and drilling holes thru the straps because I don't like how the bolts will be hanging out... I've got extra flat heat bolts to put on it to make me fell more at easy I've already got two nice gouges in the rear thank god it isn't leaking lol
