    Hey everybody,
I’m hoping to recruit some help from you all to help me find the right CarPlay head unit for my truck. I may be asking for more than I can receive here. But I’m hoping to get a unit with a Toyota startup screen, steering wheel control support, backup camera support and ideally a dial for volume control. Not sure if they even make such a thing but I’m having a real hard time finding one. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

The unit that I installed supports all of this and Android Auto too. PLZ 902W <$200 on Amazon. Look through my old posts (use search) to find out more.

With the exception of the Toyota startup screen, most aftermarket head units will get the job done. You can use a idatalink maestro to retain steering wheel controls, gain access to vehicle settings, and view vehicle information. Check out Crutchfield. You can search only head units with a volume knob if you want that specific feature. Is there any benefit to keeping the Toyota startup screen or is it just for appearance? (Honest question)
