So i have an appt. friday for putting a muffler on my 1999 Toyota Tacoma.. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what is the loudest and best muffler available??

I heard a flowmast single chamber is the best for what i have....

go with a flowmaster super 44.......good and loud......especially if you are just wanting sound.

i have a single chambered 10 series on my truck its loud and annoying and also probably illegal in california because they are very strict with emissions. so i wouldnt recommend having a single chambered muffler put on.

i thought i was the only weirdo with a single chambered muffler now everybody wants one , who knows maybe the 10 series will become as popular as the flowmaster 40.

I got a single chamber on mine, and it passes smog. Muffler doesn't affect emission...

Get a spintech. thats what i have. Are you in southern cali? I can show you what a single chamber sounds like.

Spintech is another brand of muffler. I chose it because I'm not a big fan of flowmaster.
mine is the spintech pro street series 6221. a more louder one is the super pro street, that one would be like running with no muffler at all.

That truck belongs to whathappened16 on ttora. Its acutally deeper, because the mics on cameras can't pick up all frequency, so the low sound isnt there. Mine sounds alittle different because it is a 2.25 in tubing. that truck has it in 2.5. (i think, pretty sure tho) and the one in the link is what i have.

edit: also he has a kn FIPK 2 on his truck so the intake also helps bring out all the sound
