I’ve got the squeaks from a bad lower eyelet bearing. Elka says this collar just comes out and then press in the new bearing. This collar will not come out at all! Tried heat, tried PB blaster nothing. How do you remove this collar to get to the bearing?

You need to get the alignment Spacers out and then there should a snap ring on one or both sides that needs to be taken out.

Then you can press the bearing out and replace with new.

The alignment spacers are what I’m having issues with I can’t get them out. Does it take a special tool? I’ve pryed, pulled, heated, treated it to dinner and a movie…. I’m stuck lol

I'm sure they're seized in there. Better get some more OTW cause I bet they don't come out in good shape.
Could try a pair of vice grips on both sides and twisting to get the rust to break.

Seized completely!!!! The vise grips worked along side a vise and a cut off wheel. Starting to not enjoy these coilovers
