Hey there gang, I've got a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab that I bought a prinsu roof rack for. I've been holding off on the installation because of the whole drilling into my roof thing. My main concerns are alignment on the roof rack as well as watertightness.

The instructions from prinsu are not directly from a tacoma access cab and the closest thing is either double cab or Tundra instructions but neither really match up as far as marking the drill spots. If anyone has measurements for where to drill it would be great help.

My second dilemma is the prevention of water getting into my truck. Has anyone tried using O-Rings on the nutserts/rivnuts before putting them on? I would imagine that when the rivnut presses, the o-ring would seal up any gaps. I'm also debating on whether to use good old silicone or this roof mastic sealant. Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance
