Welcome to TW, as I have learned the search function is the most help as all of us at one time or another has asked a question. It wont have the answer for everything but has alot of answers for common questions. Plus all the guys here are always willing to help, pretty good people on here and always willing to help.

I have had gibson, magnaflow, and flowmasters on my trucks in years past and on my tacomas i have stuck with flowmaster, i have the flowmaster 44 and love it, you can order one off ebay for around 60 bucks and weld it on yourself or take it to a shop and they'll do it for 30 bucks probably. sounds great and you can tell the power difference especially up hills etc.

I had a shop put on a Pro-Flo muffler with 2.5" pipe. 2 in 1 out. . sounds awesome and was pretty inexpensive.

I had a local muffler shop install a dynamax bullet on my 09 V6. I think its the deepest sounding muffler that I have ever heard on a Taco. It ran me $115 drive out.
