help with fender flares. (got a fix it ticket)

Hello. I recently got pulled over for not having fender flares or mud flaps. I was wondering what options I have. My tires stick out about 4 inches. I'm running 35x12.5's. are there fender flares that would do the job and not look ugly or do I need pre runner style fenders? If you guys could post suggestions with links it would be much appreciated. here's a pic of my truck.

 

Perhaps you could explain that the 3.5 does not generate enough power to pose a threat of throwing debris...

 

I believe there are some mud flaps by the name of RdBlockz or something like that. Then just look up some bush whacker flares on eBay, they run about $250.

 

Lawn edging would look hawt

 

Put on some smaller tire/wheels, buy some big mud flaps.

 

hey now....that was not an option lol. do you know of anybody that makes mud flaps that are large enough?

I am just giving you a hard time. Yeah bushwackers is about all your can do. I think those only cover about 1.3" over stock though. As silly as it sounds you could do the lawn edging just to get out of the ticket then remove it until the next time.

 

These EGR's would look great but only add an inch to what you already have. Just having them might be enough for them to leave you alone though.

Time for fiberglass. Or you could just tuck them wheels back in.

 

Are there certain fiberglass fenders that are the go to/best of the best? I looked but couldn't find any for the long bed.

Hm. Good question. I haven’t looked into the best glass for 3rd gens.
