    This may not be true. As of May 2015 Toyota released an official TSB repair protocol for this known problem. My truck is getting repaired as I type this. They've released a new part# to replace the needle bearing.

    no need for a rebuild check out www.eastcoastgearsupply.com there is a bearing in there that has a design flaw replace it and maybe you wont need to rebuild
