I seen that video to. A pattern thrown at a wall doesn’t tell me that the Led bulbs reach out further than halogens or hid bulbs and doesn’t tell me that they won’t be blinding on coming vehicles.

Read that thread that was mention @crashnburn80 did a ton of research. Don’t ignore the facts and opt just for looks that don’t perform.

LEDs in stock fog housing completely eliminates them as fogs and causes blinding light glare to oncoming drivers.

"I did the piaa extreme white plus halogen bulb upgrade. There noticeable brighter."

PIAA bulbs are never brighter, only whiter with the blue coating over the bulb glass. Whiter might *seem* brighter but it's not. Measure them with a good light meter and they will absolutely put out less light than even a standard LL H11, let alone any of the high performance H11's.

The projector determines your cut off so you don't blind on coming traffic, unlike people that put their Amazon LEDs in reflector housing's. If you put a brighter bulb in you projector housing you will get a better result over standard halogens. I have changed mine all over to LEDs, I run my fog and low beams together and have never been high beamed by anyone.

Yes cut offs in the third gen headlights are okay cause of the projector. However LEDs in stock housing fog lights don’t properly cut off and completely makes them not a fog light. Also LEDs in the stock housing headlights don’t project as far as halogen and that has been proven time and time again in that thread crash posted
Also here’s the fog light thread

LEDs also go down in brightness as they get hotter. “Brighter” led bulbs don’t project light worth a damn over distance where throw of light really matters

True, I'm also more than happy with mine as well. Spend $30, $50, $100 or $150 it's your money and your truck dude.

I use this too. They work a lot better then the 150 dollar VLEDS I had installed. Wish crash made that thread a little sooner

The GE Megalight +130s are a great bulb, but the GE Xenon +120s are a little better.

@El Duderino if you wanted to lend me your VLEDs I'll add them to the thread. Currently battling some equipment issues at the moment so not urgent but hope to have resolved soon.

I had tried to help in the 3rd Gen LED threads for quite a while before my thread, but the LED fan boys were way too numerous. I was highly disruptive for not going with the flow that LEDs must be better. It was like trying to discuss the physics of orbit with flat earthers. Complete disregard for all things science.

They are in a pod sitting in Portland right now and I’m in PA. It will still be a bit till I’m back over there.
