I recently bought a 19 Tacoma and am going through it trying to find any problems whiles it’s still under the fix everything warranty. I noticed the heated seats on the drivers side are pretty weak. I can’t even feel any heat at one bar on three bars it feels like my old cars middle setting. I know there’s an issue with the amp burning out and needed to be replaced. My question is, and only ever haveing one car to compare it with, how strong are the heated seats? I haven’t had a chance to take a ride in the passengers seat to see if that feels any different. Thanks for the help in advance and sorry if this has been asked before, I could only find threads on the burnt out amplifier and the too small cables.

My 2017 had cloth seats and I could feel the heat very well and within a short amount of time. My 2020 has softex "leather" and it takes a bit longer for me to feel anything. I think that it feels the same if given time though.

My 19 is really hot on the 3rd setting. Kinda hot on the 2nd and warm on the first. It's comparable to my wife's Accord. Weak would be nowhere in my description.

My 17 with cloth seats are some of the best heated seats I’ve ever used on max

Just turn the passenger seat on and then when you get to your destination sit in it long enuff to compare to drivers seat..

Thanks for all the replies. I’ll definitely test the passengers seat idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. It’s sounding like it might be the burnt amp.
