Help with lift and tire size

I am just starting to do some mods on my 2021 tacoma trd off road. I want to get it more ready for off roading here in northern Canada.
I am adding a steel bumper and a winch this weekend. I will also add eventual a roof and bed rack, rock sliders, full skid plate.
I would like to put 285/70R16 tires on it eventually but am unsure how much of a lift I should do in the front and rear considering the extra weight I’ll be adding.

 

Most likely will need a cab mount chop. Lift does not dictate which tire size you can run.

So many options to go with but here is a cheap and proven setup. Go with Bilstein 5100s all around. Get some type of spring upgrade probably around 700lbs in front with the weight you mentioned. Then go with an Add a leaf or full leaf pack in the back. Icon makes a good one.

 

You will probably need UCA’s as well.

I’m not concerned about price and I rather pay more for a better quality then go with something cheap. The leaf prongs and upper control arms I’m scare off. It’s the how much should I raise the from and back to accommodate the tire size and weight that I’m unsure of

 

You may look at skinny 33’s 255/85r16 then. You will still want something like 700lbs spring up front to help compensate for the bumper and winch. Like the folks said there are a thousand ways to do it. Question is how committed are you to what you want.
