Finally getting around to putting these on. Have a few questions. what settings do I want them at (caster, toe)? Here are a few pictures of how I have them set up for installation. Is this correct? Any tricks or things I need to watch out for? Thanks in advance.

I set mine in the 0 (ball joint setting) +2.0 caster position to start with. Flat part out.

So your saying to rotate it 180?

Never mind, I see in the illustration. Wow.... Not sure how I didn't catch that.

Was the installation pretty straight forward?

I'm saying I put it in the position of the middle pic on the sheet. Standby, going to snap a pic.

If you set it so the SPC logo is pointed straight out, it will be at the +2 caster which is generally ok for most people. Rotating the SPC logo to face rearward will decrease caster via the UCA and push your tires forward in the wheel well. Rotating the logo to face forward will increase caster via the UCA and push your tires towards the rear wheel well. Too much adjustment either way can cause your tires to rub and may require cutting.

Keep in mind, caster adjustment from the Lower Control arms acts opposite. Increasing caster form the lower pushes your tire forward and vice versa. Some people play with the UCA and LCA to get the tire to sit in a specific position in the wheel well. I wanted the caster to be as high as possible (~3*) for a better on road driving feel, while not pushing the tire too far back that it would rub like hell offroad.

What I did was kept the UCA at the 0 position (+2*), took it to a shop and told them to max caster from the lower control arms and fix the camber using the upper control arm adjustment. Finnish with the toe adjustment.

Thank you guys so much. I turned it 180 and made sure it was at the D setting. What about the in/out adjustment (toe?)? Should I set it in the middle and have the shop take care of the rest?

Yup, I slid them all the way out so they were the same when I took it to the shop. They didn't change them.

Do you want wheel clearance or highest caster? Careful when you bring it to a shop as they try to get it in "spec" which is going to negate the UCA's caster and push that tire way back.

If you want tire clearance you will have to play with it a bit. Max out the LCA caster (push that lower ball joint all the way forward) and start decreasing caster on the UCA's slowly (bring the upper ball joint forward) until you either get the clearance you want or caster gets too low for comfort.

If you want max caster, for a lift and bigger tires, 3* is a very good starting point and achievable at the D position. Tell the shop you want max caster on the lower control arms. When caster is set, have him use the upper control arms to adjust camber. Make sure you have them torque that top nut to spec. Follow that with toe adjustment.

Wanted to give a big thanks to those that chimed in. Install went pretty smooth. Took about 2 hours. Drives like a dream, much better than stock.
