Hi how are you guys. I bought a 2014 Tacoma with King coilovers in the front and rear shock on the back. On the rear I have a 1" lift block. My issue is. The truck rides really stiff on the rear. after a while driving the truck my back actually hurts from all the stiff bouncing. my rear shock length is 24.29" ext - 15.83 collapsed. Also i just checked and i have 100psi of pressure on the shocks. is there any way to make the truck ride a little smother. I'm just about to buy a new set of rear shocks with the adjustments on it and see if that helps. Also i wanted to add a 2" maybe a 3" lift block on the back. Do i need a 10" travel shock for that? What is the oem shock dimensions and travel length? I'm not sure with the king rear shock is long enough for a 2" or 3" rear block. My truck right now when i measure is leveled, however when you look at it the front looks like it higher than the rear. so i wanted to lift the rear a little to change that.

As for the shocks being stiff, just send them in to king and tell them you want them a lot softer, they will re-valve them for you. And for add a lift it depends where the shock you have now sits at ride height, so check how much shaft is showing at ride height and when the shock is fully extended. That will tell you how much droop you have. It also could be your springs too though.

I have about 4.5" of travel at ride height "shock shaft showing". So I'm about in the middle of the travel length. I'm just not sure if the shock can be kind of the top of its travel length. i think that might not be good

Yeah if you take 2" or 3" out of your droop to lift it you'll probably be topping out often which would be pretty annoying.

I have a 16 Tacoma and what KING Shock lengths do I need? How can I easily measure my shaft?

Take off that rear block and it will be smooth. Or go to king and get them valved at a softer rate, or get better leaf springs to achieve your desired height. I have 2.5" kings front and rear and I have no issues with stiffness but I also have Deaver springs instead of the stock springs

This is my exact situation.... What could I do to combat this? Other than lifting the rear more
