This is a truck I saw a few weeks ago, I really like the lift and wheel/tire combo. This is something I’d generally like to aim for.

The truck is the photo is what’s called a 6 lug truck. Since it’s a regular cab, that means it’s a 4x4...although I think at 1 time here may have been a regular cab Prerunner. Your truck is a 5 lug and the suspension is different from the 4x4/Prerunner.

Ah, alright. I’d just need to know how to get this look for my 5 lug 2WD

I don’t think you understand what most of us have been saying. You’re not going to get that look with a 5 lug truck. In addition to being limited on how much you can lift your truck, you’re going to find that you’re going to be limited on wheel choices as well. As some of us have mentioned, check out the 5 lug thread. Those are the guys that can give you the best advice about lifts and wheels on a 5 lug truck. Good luck with it, though.

Well, this is a good place to get some good info....once you get past all the bs that takes place. I’m a bit older than you, (who am I kidding....I’m a lot older than you) but I started when I was younger than you, reading car magazines and helping my dad when possible. I learned by doing...I rebuilt the engines in my first 3 cars. I used to read my dad’s Chilton motor manual when I had questions. There are a lot of guys on here that are pretty sharp that will give you good advice. And, as I tell folks, Google and YouTube are our friends. Good luck with your truck.

Yeah, my intentions were to not confuse you and overload you with information, just trying to give you the best information "I" could so that you can learn. My apologies if "I" confused you in any way.

Anyways, now I hope you understand why I was asking those questions so as to pinpoint any unknowns. Now that "we" know that all you are after is for that lifted look, you won't be spending unnecessary $$$ on other suspension parts you really do NOT need or you can go about it, cheap... cheap in the sense that you don't need the super high-end components just to get a lifted look as that would just be a total waste of $$$ right there. :bananadead: Unless, of course, you have monies to spend???

But yeah, BKill has some good points as well.:fistbump:

Yeah! I’m not a millionaire or anything but I’ve been saving for about a year for some nice upgrades. Thank you for your help, I’d for sure like to not spend an arm and a leg

Hey guys! I found a lot of useful info on another thread and I found some 5 lug lifts. Would I only need one of these to cover the front AND back lifts..?

I found this sick look today, that’s an LT setup right? Is it worth the price?
