Help with new business logo?

Any of you guys or gals good at designing logos?? I'm looking to get kind of cool logo idea for our website, shirts and sweatshirts. We are a water well drilling company call Rich Well Drilling. I'm thinking of something either with our company name and a well or some kind of water associated with it. Or something with one of our drilling rigs made into a "cartoonish" look. maybe something with a drill bit that we use. Hopefully someones into doing something like this. i'll put the company's website below so you can check it out and maybe get an idea. It's still a rough website. and i'll try to post a picture or there are some on the site. Thanks

I can. I can make like a bucket on the end of a rope maybe, with 3d text that say Rich Well Drilling.

 

like something simple. You dont want too much in a logo.

I dont know if I'd want something with a bucket and a rope. I don't know if I want someone seeing a logo with a bucket and rope and the first thing they think is that were out of date.

I put some pics up of drill bits we use that might be cool to incorporate to the logo, and an idea of a drilling rig.

 

i'll check them out. Not really expecting to be revising too often haha

 

I like his idea. but seriously, people will think simple, when they see a simple logo not necessarily out dated. I do 3d modeling, do you want to see what I have done already. so you can see what I'm talking about?

that may be a little too simple lol. one of the employees said are slogan should be "Your hole is our goal, the wetter the better"... but we had to veto that one lol

 

The same one or what? Thats ridiculous. You can commission some bad ass logos for a lot cheaper than that from designers on youtube. I'm surprised that logo company you bought that from is still in business for those prices.

 

I could've gotten that for a cheaper price... take that logo and tell xapexpred to remake the same one, he will give you a quote through youtube....just look at his background on his channel....hes one of the best

 

or any other well known graphic designer. sherbertmelon is another great one but idk if he still does graphics.
