Hey everyone, I recently got a set of fox 2.5 0"-3" lift coilovers for my 2011 tacoma. My question is do I need anything on top of the coilovers for install? I have heard that I do not need anything and that I might need some things.. Can any one confirm if I need anything else of if just the coilovers is all I need? Thanks!

Just trying to get the 3" from the coilovers. And then maybe a leaf pack down the line. But if I get UCA's does that make it a "mid" travel kit? Or what makes it a mid travel kit

Ok, sorry I'm not up to date on everything. But what would be a good front mid travel set up? cause I have the coilovers, but maybe UCA's and brake lines? Or what do you guys think?

    ok, so couple things

you don't/won't need the trim packer. Those are to be added to set coilover assemblies that are not adjustable; since the coilovers are adjustable, you can fix the taco lean with the coil seats themselves

you don't need anything else. Coilovers are pretty much plug and play if they're already assembled. if anything, you might want to pick up a set of spanner wrenches to adjust the coils to your liking (if you didnt already get a set)

    no, those are just "lifts"

mid travel matches uniball control arms in front with extended travel coilovers, and an aftermarket leaf pack w/longer shocks in the rear

Ok, sweet. And I have the wrench so I'm good there. But basically for a mid travel set up, which is what I'm trying to get as close to as possible, I need a Uniball UCA, lead pack and obviously new rear shocks, (which I'm already in the process of getting..

give them a coat of clear paint before install. They will be totally rusted out in a single year if you are near the ocean.

to gain travel up front you'll need extended travel coilovers, otherwise the uca's will just be helping with alignment rather than adding travel

About an hour from the ocean so I think I'm good! And ok, I see. So are UCA's good to have with this set up though? And I'm looking at either the 0-1" or 2-3" fox remote reservoir shocks. So what would be my best rear set up?
