    Got my grill out and putting the old hardware back on the new grill. Does anyone know where this part goes in the first pic ? Thanks
    And does that part number stamp look odd to you ? It’s factory oem

    You should have had to remove those spring nuts to get the distance sensor out, the new one makes the install of the new one easier. Did you not take photos as you removed parts?

    “Semi-Pro”/“PrOff-Road”
    The star nuts are used to attach the sensor garnish (top) ... the bottom of the garnish uses tabs to lock in place. The part stamp looks normal to me.

    Should flat side down. I used a deep socket with an extension while supporting the garnish from the other side. Also, mine was stamped the same way.

    Thanks for the help gentleman called my dad said to use the same thing a deep socket worked great! New grill is on looking good
