Hi all. Would really appreciate your help with choosing a leaf pack for a 2014 DCSB with a SnugTop Camper. Current ones are sagging and bottoming out on the bump stop.

    some history here.

I ordered parts from 4wheelparts.com. to upgrade my suspension. I got
    6112 Bilsteins for the front
5100 Bilsteins for the back and asked for an add a leaf.

They sent me 57096b-5 procomp add a leafs that say for 07-2012 tacoma's. Saw a thread here on TW that said I would have to cut them down to use them on my 2014 and that they would be squeaky.

Soo I thought if I gotta order again I might as well do it right and get a replacement leaf pack.

Im looking a Deavers expidition leaf pack but not sure if i should get the 400-600lbs pack or the 700-1000lbs pack. Also if you have any recommendations that aren't Deavers I would be interested in hearing please?

    Thank you for your time.

    Welcome to TW.
None of our opinions will be very helpful without knowing the actual weight of your truck with whatever load you typically carry. Get it weighed at your dump facility or a trucking company. Weigh it with front wheels on the scale only, full truck, and rear wheels on the scale only. Then call Deaver at (714) 542-3703 and get their recommendation based on your weight and needs. They are the experts.
My U402's took 7 weeks from April 29th to deliver, but they are worth the wait. Stage 1 is perfect for my truck at about 2,400lbs rear weight.
Deaver U402 leaf packs are going to be about double the lift of the procomp AAL, so prepare for that. Deaver can make you a custom pack if you want.
Don't buy anything but Deavers (or possibly Icons or Dobison, but I haven't used those) unless you hate money.

I had full deavers in the past, and they just didnt hold up, flattened out in like 2 years. Alcan was the best fix. They custom built leaf packs for me. They have been going strong for 10 years.

Which Deavers did you have, how heavy was your truck, and how hard did you beat them?
I've heard good feedback about Alcan also. I should have included them above.

They were built for my Nissan Xterra. I needed an extra 500lb capacity. Did tock crawling and drove it every day too. They just went flat. I feel like deavers are more for pre runners and not heavy use. That's my personal experience.

I've had Deavers on full-size trucks and just put the 402 stage ones on my Tacoma. I have a constant weight of probably 200 maybe 220 pounds. I just got back from an expedition towing my jeep trailer and they worked perfect. I have never heard anything bad about Deaver until the post above but they're not perfect so I get that part too.
