help with price on new trd off road double cah with tech

i am looking at trd off road with tech pkg dbl cb. msrp is $39515. Cash deal. They told ne invoice is 38500 and that is it. Doesn't sound right. Any help on what you guys are getting. im in Oklahoma. I was thinking more in $36k range...

thank you. that puts invoice about $36400.00. that sounds more like it. Now that gives me real info to know what I will pay.

 

Yeah they are full of crap. Got my 2017 TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab with premium and tech for 37500. MSRP was 39500. I probably could have gotten it lower but I was getting tired of the back and forth.

TRD Off Road sticker MSRP is 40K here in canada.
Taxes in with all the accessories I got I'm paying 51K.
I was originally going to go shop around, told them I was too and they said what would we need to give you to have you sign right now for one? I named my price (monthly payment for remaining after my downpayment), they said yes.
Basically took 1800 off the price.

Now that I think about it I wonder if I should've went lower. I told them $450 a month and I'll sign, wonder what they would've done if I said $400. But oh well. I was pricing mine out for over a year, so I was based my downpayment etc on what I feel comfortable paying monthly. I figured I can easily afford a $500 a month payment and not have to worry or anything, in the event I get laid off (which in my line of work is common) I can still easily afford it on unemployment. So got them to go to $450 which works fine for me. I figured should be reasonable with what I ask off as if I give them some crazy offer they will just laugh.

End of the day with what I got off I basically got the tonneau cover and my block heater for free.
