Naw- it’s easy to rack up those miles just to commute in So Cal.

There is nothing wrong with the tire size. I'm guessing they are about 32" tall, just barely larger than stock. I've had 32" tires on my 07 since the factory tires wore out. I'm at 260,000 trouble free miles.

I might pay $10K, and at that price the miles wouldn't worry me. No way I'd pay $22K. With resale value on Tacoma's I wouldn't touch a used one. I'd start looking at new or something else. There are enough people out there that will pay those insane prices to keep the prices up there. Tacoma isn't the only player out there and IMO the 3rd and 4th gens are overrated. Start looking at used Nissan Frontiers, Ford Rangers and Chevy Colorado's.

My brother paid well under $20K for a 2018 Frontier with 50,000 miles on it. I kept my old Tacoma but added this to the fleet a month ago. $39900 before taxes and fees and it beats Tacoma's payload, towing, HP and torque by a WIDE margin. In fact, it beats the F150's V8 in torque and towing that I traded for it.
