Help with rear shock plz.. mahalos

    Hey guys wazzup.. i have a 2014 tacoma offroad with a level lift kit, 3” front and 2” rear blocks with the stock shocks.. when hitting a small ditch my rear sounds is fully extended.. so i need ur guys help on rear shock.. im looking at a freedom shock from extreme terrain and its a 0-2” lift but thrs a 0-3”.. does tjis matter or same?

    Yes an no, depending how much down travel an up travel you have on you rear I would go with 3, but if it’s just a daily the 0-2 is fine

    kinda confused.. you said when hitting a small ditch, your rear sounds fully extended. Could you please explain? If hitting the ditch, the shock would actually be in the compressed rather than the extended.

    I used to run the extended 5100s in my old truck. Had to make sure the shock didn’t bottom out when compressed (some may need to adjust bump stop)

    again, kinda need clarification on what your situation is. Plus. If you are hearing a loud sound it may not be your shock and possibly something else. Try tightening up the bolts on the rear. (Where your blocks are)

    Im on stock rear shocks with a 2” rear blocks..
    Sorry my bad,, yea hitting a ditch it compress and it extend to a sound ,, not sure what it is.. i just ignore it

    I would still torque your U-Bolts. If you are on blocks, and still have your bump stops in, I would be surprised if you are bottoming out your shocks.
