only thing holding the rotor on is the lugs. Yours might be rusted to the hub and need more encouragement to come off.

Yeah you probably could. Some pb blaster around the hub and the lugs wouldn’t hurt either.

Yup, pb blaster, encouragement from a mallet / hammer, and then heat...

your manual hub studs have cone shaped washers that can be very tight. I haven't worked on a manual hub toyota in years, so someone else should chime in here with suggestions on how to remove those cone shaped washers.

    You need rotors anyway.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I use my air hammer on the hub where it will not damage things it vibrates the cone washers out quit well .

I have found this by far the best way I have ever found .

Spraying your favorite penetrating spray also helps.

Put two lug nuts on for a few threads. Then hit with a hammer rotating side to side. It'll come off, just rusted to the hub.
Get some antiseize for when you clean off the hub and the backside of the new rotor to prevent it from happening again.

**Metal body of the manual hubs does not need to come off. But as mentioned the cone washers need to come off if you want to take that off.

Cone washers are keeping them on.

Put the nuts back on the studs, and screw them on just enough to have both the nut and bolt flush on top.

Take a brass drift, place it on said stud/nut and give it a few good whacks.

One or two good ones, turn and do the same for the remainder.

It'll start to pop off and it'll come right out.

I've taken plenty off of Tacoma's being parted out.

I don’t think he’s trying to take the manual hub bodies off…

I forget the rotor opening is larger and completely slips over it :violent:

He just needs to whack the rotor then.
