HELP with sterling wheel wiring

Anyone know what this is supposed to look like. Tried to find a picture for reference with no luck.

Don’t ask how I got here. I’m trying to put this thing back together and I’m stumped. I’ll explain later

 

I think you need a new clockspring

 

I’m changing my steering rack and I was turning the wheel to center it when I heard that flat cable crunching in there.

 

Time for a new clock-spring (spiral cable), they are not repairable. Make sure you have everything centered when you install the new one, you will also likely need to do a VSC recailbration to re-zero the steering angle sensor.

One from Amazon for $37 and it worked great on my 2011. You do need to be careful to ensure you don't bend any pins. I used youtube videos for instructions.
