That lower spring seat looks taller than a standard raised seat.

Where did you buy the coilovers?

You said you have zero preload, did you install the springs?

Exactly that spring cup looks much taller than a standard raised one. Theres preload on that spring. A regular raised retainer fully extended with 16" spring has just enough room for the spring to be a true 16" but with this raised retainer its preloading it some, even though the ring is all the way up with no threads showing. But as others mentioned just give it some time to settle, I have put 700 lbs springs on LT tacomas and its fine. You have a lot of weight and you will like the 700

You sir are a boss!!! Just looked at everyone else running this kit and they have different seats! I bought these from offroad warehouse and waited for king to build them.

King put the wrong lower spring seat on the Coilovers.

That would probably depend on who the shock was ordered through and if the right shock was ordered.

Contact King and they will send you the correct spring seats.

King basically said it would be the assemblers fault which seemed strange but Downsouth is making it right and sending me the seats today.

Big difference between the two seats. LT on the left, OEM/MT on the right.
