    Where do I put the little red ball before reinstalling the back of my fan control? I went too far looking for the climate control bulbs....

    looks like it goes here? its probably the detent ball for the fan switch. i'm guessing it clicks into the round opening at the off position and clicks into the angled notched at the different fan speed settings.
