My 05 tacoma prerunner oem tire pressure sticker states 29 psi
I have stock tire size but im running yokohama geolander ats they say max psi 51
I usally run them all at 36 psi for everyday driving. Should I take them up to 40 psi to tow my travel trailer home tomorrow? It will weigh around 2,600 pounds when I leave the dealer with about 520 hitch weight and wd hitch...thanks for any info...I read that the rear should be lower psi then front because the trailer weight can make the rear tires a higher pressure

36 is probably ok, 40 rear wouldn't hurt for towing. Just be sure you're doing an honest 40 on a fully cold tire - not driven, no sun on them.

stick with your normal 36 in the front. 40 sounds good for the rear
