    To start, I own a 2014 Tacoma Prerunner TRD-off-road V6 (not sr5)

I can not figure out how to check the gas mileage/ how much fuel I have left. When I go onto the touch screen there is no button for it. I checked the owners manual to see how to do it. And I am supposed to have a Maintenance and Navigation (or maps) app. But I don't have these. I'm not sure if something is wrong or I need sr5. What do I do?

I don't believe there is a gas mileage/fuel function in the entune radio. Also the navigation is an optional upgrade. Your window sticker will tell you if you purchased the navigation option.

I have a 2013 so my touchscreen is quite different but the situation may also apply. If I am wrong then a 2014 owner can correct me. The manual includes fuel economy options and such in the manual, however all of that is just general info for Toyota touchscreens and may not in fact be present in the tacoma. My manual also includes stuff about fuel economy display and even changing my background image for my 2013, however my head unit is not capable of that stuff.

Yeah. It is, but it doesn't show up on my touch screen, or anywhere

Do you happen to remember what page in the owners manual I don't remember seeing anything about that? Not that I don't believe you.
