Hey guys, I just had a 3" toytec lift with 285 75 16 bfg's put on and I have a 6 speed manual. I have noticed that there is a little shimmy in the shifter now at low rpm's in first gear. Anyone else notice this? I'm getting a urd short shifter next week. Does anyone think this might help with the shimmy? Some people say that is has smoothed out things in a stock truck so I didn't know. Has anyone had any issues with the toytec 3" lift? This is on a 2009 tacoma 4x4 off road. Thanks

yea i just put a toytech system on two weeks ago and i have the same problem. i put on the shim kit for the carrier bearing this week, it helpd some but the vibration is still there. thinking about shimming it down some more. there are a lot of threads concerning this problem. the one fix that seems to cure it is a custom driveshaft
