help with transmission

    theres a guy on craigslist selling a transmission for a 22re and i was wondering if it would fit my 3.0 v6 ? all replies are appreciated. thanks

    it wont bolt up, but anything's doable. There are probably more than one transmission behind the 22re. Celica probably didn't run the same as the 4runner.

    Also, the 22re put out about 105 hp? maybe 120? and was put in lighter cars. Would be suboptimal on a v6. Probably, assuming you could adapt it. Which I would imagine would be all on you to do.

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    The 22re once came with an optional turbo. The W55/6 is more than capable of being behind a V6...........especially the 3.slow

    There was no 22re in a supra. But just about anything else, and input shaft aside they might bolt to the 20r.
    Tanks they wete not however. Ive broken one and bought one broken and test drove one broken. Broken, split gear broken.. Empty space in the box broken. But they went into low power low geared slightly lighted vehicles. Not bad by any means, but once youve started buying overseas adapter parts, you might as well do that t56 or get a used 6 speed if thats your problem.
