option A - break the truck. now as everyone is reeling from shock and horror of the thought of intentionally hurting your Taco...just hear me out. nothing terrible just do enough damage to mess up the shocks so you have no choice but to replace them. it would be best if a buddy of yours, one that your wife doesn't really like anyways, was behind the wheel at the time. that way he takes the blame and you are left smelling like a rose. or just take a sledgehammer to the shocks and get it over with quickly and in the safety of the driveway.

option B - present her with testimonials from all TW'ers who have lifted their trucks and have remained problem free. then ask her friend to back up her claims.

option C - I'm actually going to agree with the guys here... Buy the damn shocks and don't tell her. While you're at it get them delivered to work or to a friends house, encourage the wife to plan a girls day out so that you can have an install day free of nagging, if you're lucky it will be a long time until she even notices that the truck is different (until the credit card bill arrives anyway). At that point get nice and comfy on the couch...you'll be spending many nights there.

This works! I have noticed that when I grab my torch, light it, and carry it around, while pretending I lost a "Part", my Wife grabs her keys and leaves. Another option, an All Day Spa treatment (for HER) useually gets you a full free day, AND some "Your the best" lovin later on!

First of all, before Eve was taken out of Adom there was no death. God is of his own creation, therfore he is both man and woman, so he was self producing. He created Adom in his own image so he had both male and female parts. He was Immortal. The verry second that women was created death began, because the female parts were taken out of Adom.

Having said that, why would you ever argue with Death.

Come to know women as the extra knowledge that has been taken out of you. Then figure out whitch one of you, you should listen to.

After 30 years of marriage I can only sya a few things

    1. I am always wrong, yet will never admit she's right.

    2. I can always get in the last word "yes dear".

5100's will help smooth out the ride too. That's something she'll appreciate.

Since I already have the 5100s, I just bought a 2011 grill to replace my 2005 unbroken perfectly good one with and upon hearing this the wife ripped off all her clothes and begged me to have my way with her. She does this every time I mod the car, the truck, the computers, the house, etc. I stay moddin something all the time. Moral of the story.....pick a winner!

Yeah just don't tell her. I've had an OME kit on my truck for over a month now and she still hasn't noticed. I just have to keep the OEM shocks hidden otherwise she'll be like "What the fuck are these?"

Want me to drive up to your house and show her that a 3" kit won't kill your Tacoma? I'm in the NE near Stony Trail and Harvest Hills.

You've had to compromise on something at some point, wittingly or otherwise.
