    "Center Room Lamp"...
You must purchase parts and assemble the intercept harness, or tap (blue) however you prefer.

Hmmm... I tapped into my dome circuit at the actual dome light, like an ignorant peasant!

But to clarify my opinion on the topic of "can I add more lights to my dome circuit?" discussed earlier in the thread:

    side.jpg

    Yes, you can.

I started by replacing my dome lamp bulb with some LED strips. That was already brighter. Then added some more LED strips in the map light area (in addition to the map lights, which still work manually). Then I added some courtesy lights in both footwells. And another on the rear of the center console, for the rear floorboard. Then I added another one above the rear seat, so I can see into my fridge.

Then I made two 6-foot-long LED tubes and stuck them over my sliders. And added a few more feet of LED tubes at the rear bumper.

    12 feet of LEDs

This all has been working perfectly for four years. All the lights work off my dome circuit, and dim like they should.

I wouldn't do this with incandescents, or with LED products that incorporate power converters. Mine are all simple 12V LED strips with series resistors. Probably used a whole reel of LEDs by now, just off the dome circuit. But a whole reel only draws like 2 or 3 amps.

    Hi, new here.
Thats awsome to know. I figured they could take 4 strips of door lights bout 3-4 feel each. Or at least it will likely never be a prob as i cant foresee a situation where all 4 doors will be open for a long time.

    Unless someone looses a contact.
    Going for it!
