I have a sub that I put in my 98 2.7l and I want to put rock lights and led light pods in and was wondering how I connect it to the battery. Is it ok if the 2 wires touch when they’re connected to the battery since they both are taking power and what would be the most amount of lights I should wire to the battery?

    Hey, welcome to tacome world!
Wires stacked on battery isn't necessarily a bad thing but there is always a cleaner and more efficient way of doing it. First off, do you plan on running more lights or electronics in the future? If so, I'd recommend running a fuse block with a single wire from the pos post of battery. Then all your wires would come from that or relays instead of stacking on battery post. Any further questions, feel free to DM me for help or pictures of how I set mine up.

In theory you can hook up as many circuits to the battery as you need to have.

There are many options to how you may want to wire things.

Remember to install circuit protection for each circuit .

How do you plan to control your lights?
