Hey I'm new here from SoCal. 08 double cab trd sport looking to lift her up some but still want to fit inside the garage. I don't hate my stock 265/65/17 but want to upgrade with minimal trimming if possible. Suggestions please

You can go to 265/70/17 without trimming, gives about an inch in diameter.
You could go with bilstein 5100 adjustables and use one of the lower settings to give you a little lift.

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
Look at my build (picture in my signature is the link) it shows my current setup. Running Bilstein 5100's all around (you only need the front though, rears don't supply a lift) My fronts are set at 1.75" and I'm using stock coils and UCAs. It rides SOooOoo much better than stock and is very cost efficient! All 4 is about $330 shipped from down south motorsports or about $170ish for just the front. Lots of local guys can install them way cheaper than a shop can too. It leveled my truck and supplied about 1.5" of total front end lift after it settled. The rear has the tsb leaf pack from the dealer which supplies about .5" after it settles. If you don't have that you can get it free under warranty. If not its no big deal. This is a cheapest option possible without sacrificing quality and ride comfort. Its a great lift and thousand of members here use it. I love it. Whatever you do, avoid a body or spacer lift.

If you have a little extra cash to spent but not too much, you can get an aal (add a leaf) for the rear which gives another 1.5-2" of rear lift, then get the extended length 5100's (same price) for the back. Then set the front to 2.5" and you should be level and about 1" higher than mine. Ride won't be as smooth, but gives it just a little more. Personally I love my setup. Wouldn't change it for anything, except a nice expensive mid travel setup when I can afford it ;)

For tires, I'm running BF Goodrich TA K/O in 265/70/17. With my stock sport rims they had no rubbing except for very very very minor rub on the lower control arm at full turn, but not enough to interfere or damage the tire or truck. When I got new rims, my driver side only slightly rubs on the very front tip of the wheel well. I didn't even trim it, I literally just pushed it in like half an inch and no more rubbing. Even on the LCA. Its perfect.

Tires give an amazing street ride comfort while giving off road capabilities and a more aggressive look. The shocks give a better and higher quality ride, while leveling the truck right and doesn't compromise quality or the truck. If your on a budget, start with 5100's.

Pics of everything I just describes are in my build thread mentioned above. I know you said you were new so I tried being thorough in my explanation. Not sure how familiar you are with lifts and stuff. Tons of guys have this similar setup so most of us can answer your questions. Hope this helps.

    And welcome from SoCal!
