Proper punctuation is the difference between helping your Uncle, Jack, off a horse and helping your Uncle jack off a horse.

I’ll play, it’s Friday after all:

    a) trolling and let the fun begin, or
    b) honest and clueless… in that case:

b.1) OP, you got royally fleeced. Caveat emptor and this is a hard lesson you willingly paid for, or
b.2) Wow OP, so sorry for your situation, hope it all works out.

    JasonLee Hello? I'm a truck.

I'll help you out by adding some punctuation and formatting as well as making it concise so I can even understand what you said... I also added CLARITY in BOLD of the parts you weren't informed on.

I took my truck to someone I have known for 10+ years and trusted.

They ordered and installed a 6" Rough Country lift along with 33" tires on 17" wheels.
$5,000 in total ($1,200 was the lift) - but the front suspension was reused and only new shocks on the rear.

The next day I heard what I thought was rubbing so I took it back and he said there wasn't any. Then I found out that they had cut the front crossmember to install the 6" lift which is pretty much common to ALL drop-bracket style lifts which voided my factory warranty.

Separately, my super-cool RAPTOR lights now come on with the headlights and they told me to shove it because they didn't touch anything electrical and that's on me for my cheap aftermarket Amazon parts.

Then I started to get warning lights on my dash/head unit about ABS, Traction control, blind spot monitor and malfunctions... I didn't realize that lifting a truck 6" without calibrating anything would cause this.

Now he wants to pay me $500 to go away.

    So in summary:
    • You didn't realize that a 6" lift required the front crossmember to be cut and void your warranty. That's on both of you - the part on them would be to CONFIRM that they would be cutting into your frame.
    • Your raptor lights are acting differently. That's on YOU.
    • The dash xmas tree - that is on the installer because they should have informed you that it would cause issues that they will not/can not calibrate to fix.
You're kind of screwed now because there is no going back with the cut cross member. Best to just fix the issues and move on.

If this is real, sorry but your truck sounds fucked.

Drop bracket lift to fit 33’s seems like overkill. Post a pic of the truck.
