To anyone who knows webull: My app shows my deposit is settled, but still unable to buy options. Options buying power shows 0. But settled cash shows full amount. Anyone know why there's a difference there? I did get approved for options, made sure to check before depositing.

 

I believe tacking them on to the end of the mortgage is an option, but banks are pushing for full payment up front. There's probably going to be some people who don't understand that and just give up and walk away.

 

It means I might actually have some work again when people can’t pay their mortgages.

 

haha if you couldnt afford the payments one month at a time how the hell do people expect youll have a lump sum ready to go?

id assume its in everyones best interests to just move the payments to the end and allow the borrower to keep making payments and keep paying that interest

No I do property inspections. If you’re going bankrupt or delinquent on your payments, I get sent out to take pics of the house to make sure you’re not letting it go to shit.

So you get buying power and settled cash, but I think it’s still 2 days, maybe? Before you can use it for options. Same applies if you sell a stock, you will have the funds to buy stock, buy option buying power required the extra time before it fully settles I believe
