$AXTA earnings play looking good..Calls up $100 ea already today

 

Same. I just happened to have a large chunk sitting around that I needed to lose on something. lol

I checked AAPL earning history. They are down after the last 3 reports. Only once in their history, 2012, have they been down 4 quarters after earnings in a row. They report after earnings and Powell doesn't open his mouth until 11:30. I've got a 2 hour window to GTFO. lol

I sold calls before last earnings and lucked out and got to keep my shares. I’m watching from the sidelines

 

I've been screwed by apple so many times...I'll bit a fill here...

The key now is for me to not chase that call and sit here...

I only got 4 hours last night because my HTPC kept locking up with a windows hardware BSOD..
I THINK I finally fixed it...
First I got the dust off the Thermalright axp-140...
and cleaned out everything else...
then I monitored the MB/CPU Temp in the bios for about 30 mins as I fiddled with positioning and making sure the cooler was in contact...
Then I did memcheck
and then diskchk /f and it finally found an error..
I HOPE that's it finally...
My q9550 has been burning bright for 10+ years...

I forget to clean the dust out..

Yeah that's a little 30mm brushless fan I installed when this was my gaming PC years ago. I used it to cool the northbridge. It's not necessary anymore because I don't push the system for hours....and it's real noisy so in a HTPC that's a no no

 

Inflation numbers have two factors in there that are driving this a lot - car prices and housing prices, otherwise costs are roughly steady/normal. Except chicken wings, apparently.

 

The funny part is - it's JUST wings. Drumsticks, thighs, etc are up I think, but not a shortage.

My thought - restaurants need chicken wings, they don't sell the other bits, so they're scrambling to get them and can't. They're expensive per pound to begin with.

I fortunately hardly eat wings. I get 4 a week when I'm doing my normal chicken regimen - I get a whole chicken and quarter it once a week or so. Haven't been doing that lately though.

I guess I was pretty close. Also doesn't take an economist and research to kinda put some pieces together on that one.
