Im looking for just a little more grip than the current composite bed, but don’t want to get the mat (too much grip, easily stolen etc. )

Is it a bad idea to just roll on some herculiner on the raised part of the bed floor but not the whole bed?

    Anyone done this?

I bought a generic mat and cut it to fit. $20. Nobody will steal it. Too heavy for no gain.
