Yeah, I dont know how normal it is, but im at 50k miles now and mine is still good. Others seem to of had the same issue, but nothing ever seems to come from it.

Noticed an oily drip on the brake pedal earlier this week and finally crawled to the floor to take a peek- same as everyone. Before finding this thread there was others chalking it up to assembly lube melting in the heat. That seems to track for me here in fl, this summer and last have been brutal… just odd that it took 6 yrs (36k) in the heat regardless my opinion on the last 2 being the worst.

I wiped it and fairly confident it’s a non issue after reading around

22 TRD OR DCSB 6MT - just a hair over 14k miles. Just went fishing up a canyon near home here in Northern UT. Noticed same thing when I got back in to stop for gas. Today's high was 75 degrees, parked in the shade beneath some trees from ~430pm - 7pm. Don't think heat was an issue today. Thought it was something I stepped in while on the river back, but definite oil smell. No symptoms besides noticing the drip. Based off this thread I'll just wipe er down in the morning and monitor. 20240920_182925.jpg 20240920_192138.jpg 20240920_192218.jpg

100,000 miles and after 7 years, I noticed a similar leak. It doesn't smell like brake or power steering fluid. For anyone that had this in the past, did it develop into an issue?

Noticed mine was weeping about 3 years after purchase. That's been it. I'm assuming it's part of the tilt steering or something?
