I just installed my wheel spacers and figured I would do it as a MOD. I decided to do these since I went from a 265/65/17 to a 255/75/17 and lost some width. These are 1.25" Spidertrax, now, I don't like the blue anondized so I painted them black with wheel paint (my personal choice).

Step 1-Pull your wheels (I did mine 1 at a time.)

    100_1817_b6d36fee525068ffb259cbcae287c9cf03b1c767.jpg
    Before the wheel spacers.

Step 2-Install the wheel spacers using the star pattern to tighten lug nuts. Now, I also used Loc-Tite to ensure they stay. Tighten them to factory specs (85 pounds).

If you are doing this alone as I did. You may find it handy to have a "brace" to help with tightening the front nuts. The back ones are no trouble if the emergency brake is set.

Step 3-Replace tires and tighten to factory specs (85 pounds) using the star pattern.

    100_1818_9b423363365ae1119d7d9ded5755a280efc3cba6.jpg
After Wheel spacers have been installed.

As you can see, my toe in needs adjusted! Going to be done tomorrow.

Step 4-Drive about 10 miles, then pull tires and recheck lug nuts on wheel spacers to ensure they are still properly seated. If not, repeat the previous steps until they are no longer coming loose. Mine did not have to be redone.:D

    Enjoy your new aggressive look.

I got mine on Ebay. All (4) for $175 shipped. Still in the sealed bubblewrap. I went from a 265 to a 255 because I got a great deal on some BFG's in that size. That's the only reason.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    265/70/17 is a little shorter and .4" wider than a 255/75/17

I traded (2) Definity A/T's for the spare, locally. So no shipping. Whoo hoo. These suckers throw a lot of rocks though, only bad thing about'em so far. How long have you had yours? How are they wearing?
