    Does it seem like a good deal.

    *Bilstein 5100 RHA front shocks set at 2.5" lift $260.00 pair*(the Tacoma's just don't have enough down travel when they are lifted 3")
    *Camburg Balljoint Upper Control Arms w new balljoints $560.00 pair (not required but quite often the Tacoma's don't have enough caster when lifted 2.5" these arms will give you the correct caster)
    *Bilstein 5100 rear shocks $220.00 pair
    *Icon Rear Progressive 3 Lead Add A Pack 1.5" lift $250.00 pair (replaces the stock lower overload spring with 3 new leafs lifts the truck 1.5" in the rear and makes the spring much more progressive giving a much better ride while also supporting the longer existing springs better making the spring pack last longer) This also combats axle wrap witch the Tacoma's have problems with if a lift block of more than 1" is used.

    maybe those prices are good for canada, i think i remember some of the canadian guys bitching about prices ahah.

    You might want to look into stainless uniballs for the UCA's

    Road salt and rust can pit the regular balls

    Do you intend to offroad a lot or are the UCA's just to correct the alignment ?

    why not just buy the parts yourself and have some fellows help you install? really isnt that hard to do and itll save you lots of money.

    I would actually love to do it myself but really don't know how to go about doing it. The uca is to correct the alignment.

    I decided in my own case to go with the Light Racing UCA's because I wanted a sealed balljoint for our winter conditions

    If your only reason for buying new UCA's is to correct alignment, I would suggest installing the lift first and seeing how your alignment comes out, and then buy UCA's if they really are necessary after all. Why spend hundreds on a part you don't know you need?

    OP, it doesn't really sound like money may be much of a concern, but if you are interested in saving yourself several hundred dollars in parts and don't mind waiting a couple months, I live in Seattle and will be heading to Whistler in December if you want to have parts delivered to me and then meet me in Vancouver or something. I know Vancouver is a bit of a drive from Kamloops but maybe it's worth it? I have no idea how much the other parts cost in the US, but you'd save $200 on the 5100's alone.

    Personally I would just do the UCA's at the same time as the lift because you will almost certainly need them at 2 1/2" up front and if you are paying for an install twice and alignment twice your savings will evaporate pretty quickly

    x2. unless you're just getting a lifetime alignment from some shop. the install isn't as intimidating as it seems. just gotta find some people that know what they are doing and have the tools.

    i also have light racing UCAs. work well and havent had any alignment issues.

    True, I just tend to ignore the fact that so many people buy one time alignments to save a few bucks. It has always been a no brainer for me to pay the $120 for lifetime alignments on my vehicles instead of $80 for one.

    Mines set at 2.5" and driver side spacer, no UCA. Caster is below 2 degrees, but it drives fine, no wandering. I don't see spending over $500 for a 2.5-3" lift

    If I got coil overs, I'd get the UCA.
